Route 33 Realignment to Serve Botanic Gardens on April 20

Starting Monday, April 20, 2026, the Interurban Trolley will be permanently adjusting the path of Route 33 entering downtown to better serve the Wellfield Botanic Gardens and Gardenview Senior Apartments. From Cassopolis Street, buses will turn right on Simonton, left on Main, continuing downtown on Main Street.

Riders at the existing Cassopolis & Simonton stop should board on the northwest corner of the intersection where the bus turns onto Simonton. Riders at the existing Cassopolis & Beardsley stop should board at Main & Beardsley on the northwest corner of the intersection. Bus stop signs are being relocated to reflect new stops.

MACOG in collaboration with the Elkhart Mayor’s office is excited to bring this new service to the Wellfield Botanic Garden and Gardenview Senior Apartments.

Transit information can be obtained by calling the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) at 574-674-8894 or at www.interurbantrolley.com.
