Starting June 1, the Interurban Trolley will implement new schedules featuring adjustments across all routes, primarily impacting morning, evening, and Saturday service.

The Interurban Trolley fixed route service and the Interurban Trolley ADA Access service will not operate in Elkhart or Goshen on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular service will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Starting Monday, April 20, 2026, the Interurban Trolley will be permanently adjusting the path of Route 33 entering downtown to better serve the Wellfield Botanic Gardens and Gardenview Senior Apartments.

The Interurban Trolley fixed-route service and ADA Access service will not operate on Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day), or Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day), in observance of the holidays. Regular service will resume on Friday, December 26, 2025, and Friday, January 2, 2026, respectively.

The Interurban Trolley’s Elkhart Transfer Center will be permanently relocated to Second Street by the Train Depot on Monday, December 8.

Interurban Trolley Routes 32 and 50 will be restoring service to the Benham Ave corridor on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Service has been detoured in this area for the past several months due to extensive roadway construction projects north of Indiana Avenue.

The Interurban Trolley Fixed Route and ADA Access services in Elkhart and Goshen will not operate on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular service will resume on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The Interurban Trolley is extending its free K-12 Summer Travel Program until the end of the calendar year. With the extension of the Summer Travel Program, the Interurban Trolley will continue to provide free and safe transportation to all students in grades K-12aboard all Interurban Trolley fixed-route buses

The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (Transpo) and the Interurban Trolley will launch redesigned bus networks on Monday, June 2, 2025. The changes follow the completion of the CONNECT Transit Plan (https://www.connecttransitplan.com/) which was nearly two years of research, planning, public engagement and development.

The Interurban Trolley Green Line Northwest Loop has implemented a small service change between Holiday Village and the former Martin’s on the Northwest Side of Elkhart. This service change is effective December 2, 2024.
