Bus Service Restored to Benham Ave November 18, 2025

Interurban Trolley Routes 32 and 50 will be restoring service to the Benham Ave corridor on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Service has been detoured in this area for the past several months due to extensive roadway construction projects north of Indiana Avenue.

 In tandem with this restoration, all bus routes will be adjusted slightly in downtown Elkhart to better reflect the new two-way street configuration. A map of the new downtown routing is attached.

 “With the City’s upgrades making Benham Avenue more walkable and pedestrian-friendly, we’re excited to bring back reliable, on-time service to our passengers,” says Executive Director James Turnwald.
